The Gap in Care
Many young people do not fit neatly into existing systems.
- Weekly therapy may not be sufficient.
- Their needs may exceed traditional outpatient therapy, while not warranting inpatient treatment.
- Some may consider rehabilitation or residential programs. These can offer structure and intensity but often require individuals to step away from their daily lives, including home, school, work, and relationships.
This creates a gap for
- Young people who are struggling significantly in their daily lives but are still living at home and trying to manage school, university, or work.
- They need more support than traditional therapy programs can provide, but do not require or may not benefit from stepping away from their lives for inpatient or residential care.
